Creation with Colour-Pencils

 Hi Everyone!!

Today, I created some cards after work. I created these cards using pencil colours instead of sign pens. I was thinking they won't be  bright and nice but it proved me wrong, not only are they beautiful in terms of colour but also very easy to use. :) Obviously right, silly me.

PICTURE NO 1

I started this card by drawing balloons and then added the clouds, then the sun, then the birds and then lastly the messages :) I really liked the card. And I really hope that you guys will like it too :)

PICTURE NO 2

I created this card by drawing the cake, then I wrote the message and then I created the top border adding balloons and few other things.

That's it folks. I will post more. I am looking forward to making more cards.

Collection 2012 - My Happiness :)

H-Happiness comes in different forms. It doesn't come to one all the time. A balance needs to be maintained and therefore, life brings a dramatical change in one's happiness so that he/she understands the value of Life, the importance of a Family, the importance of a Friend, the importance of a Thing, the importance of Money and yes the list never ends. The Sky is the limit.

F- for me my Family and Friends brings more happiness then anything can in this world. But yes there are few other things that does bring smile to my face, ''My feet gets swept away",  the reason I highlighted the sentence is because, it happened to me when I met my hubby for the first time :)

D-different people have different way of defining their happiness. For majority of the girls in the world, clothes, flowers, chocolates, make-ups, accessories, handbags, shoes, etc. brings them happiness including Myself :) A-and today I am going to share with you what bought me joy and happiness today. It might not be so special to some but for me this is special, this is something I Enjoy and Love.

This is my Collection for 2012. I know some of you might have similar hobby so I thought I would post it. I purchased most of the stuffs from Hobby Craft and Asda Store. They are best place for craft work. Please do write to me if there is any other good place to buy such materials other than the stores mentioned above. Looking forward to making more cards..

AWARENESS OF CANCER - MESSAGE TO BE PASSED TO ALL FEMALES

Dear Readers,

As we all know, CANCER is a very dangerous and life threatening disease. We need to take lots of precautions and get as much information as we can to keep ourselves safe from the disease.  We need to remember that 'Precaution is better than cure'. I received this message from one of my colleague at work. It was very nice of her to remember me. I am pretty sure, most of the readers would be females and even if there are mens reading this,  it would be very nice if you could pass the message to all of your female family and friends.

Thyroid cancer
On Wednesday, Dr. Oz had a show on the fastest growing cancer in women, thyroid cancer. It was a very interesting program and he mentioned that the increase could possibly be related to the use of dental x-rays and mammograms. He demonstrated that on the apron the dentist puts on you for your dental x-rays there is a little flap that can be lifted up and wrapped around your neck. Many dentists don't bother to use it. Also, there is something called a "thyroid guard" for use during mammograms. By coincidence, I had my yearly mammogram yesterday. I felt a little silly, but I asked about the guard and sure enough, the technician had one in a drawer. I asked why it wasn't routinely used. Answer: "I don't know. You have to ask for it." Well, if I hadn't seen the show, how would I have known to ask? We need to pass this on to our daughters, nieces, mothers and all our female friends and husbands tell your wives !! I just did, now you send it on to your list. Someone was nice enough to forward this to me. I hope you pass this on to your friends and family.

CREATIVITY ON NAILS

Taking creativity to a whole new level.

Adding more to it :) Looks much better in real. 

I used the colours below to create this look. Well, it actually it looks much better in real. It was just a trial and thought I would share this one too because I really liked it :)

I actually had some other design in my mind but I ended up with this design :)

Nail Polish: Purple, Blue & Green (Style description: Purple,Blue on the side & Green in the middle)

I thought, if I can play with colours on the card, I can certainly do something with the nail polish on my nails :) I didn't have the proper brush to do nice designs but I tried the simple stripy style to paint my nails. I am still on the learning stage so not that great too. It actually looks much nicer in real.

Also, not everyone can afford the luxury to do their nails every day or have that sort of time to be only painting their nails. You can try this on yourself too. I really liked the end result :) I normally paint my nails after work. I hope you guys liked it. If you have better ideas then please share it by posting the pictures of some of your great works in my blog.

INSPIRATION

Inspiration is very important in life. It plays a big role when it comes to becoming successful or achieving one's goal in life.

Most of you must be wondering, why have I started a blog all of a sudden, started creating cards and making videos. To begin with, I always have had an interest in arts, and also I love interior designing, anything creative that requires ones imagination. The only reason I started late is because I lacked inspiration, I lacked that motivation to BEGIN, what I liked doing the most.

My parents firstly, have always inspired me in every step of my life. They have been leading me to a life, that I have always dreamed of and today made me capable of doing so many things by myself. I can't thank them enough. Also, my sister , brother and granny are also my great inspiration.

One of the other great inspirer of my life, is the fashion guru herself, SANYUKTA SHRESTHA. I sometimes wish I should have seen her work a little earlier :) I was so glad and very happy indeed to see the woman of my country reaching that height of success. So, I wanted to know more about her and did a small research.

Like everyone, she started from the scratch and today she is one of the popular bridal wear designer.

Tips to take a dip - Message & Cards

Writing messages can sometimes be tough and it puts most of us into dilemma on what to write on the card. Whether it be someones birthday, anniversary or wedding..you name it, the list just goes on.
Not all of us are poetic or good with words. To some of us, it can be quite challenging. And 80 percent of the people end up writing similar messages.

Here are some of the tips that might help those people who are struggling to jot down the words:

1. If it is someone's birthday, just write Wish you many happy years :).- You don't want your friend to be happy just on her/his special day but for the rest of his/her life. So keep the length short and sweet.
2. If it is someone's marriage anniversary, just write Congratulations for your happily married life of e.g 25 years, etc. - Again, keep the message short unless you are poetic.

So these are just the basic tips for those who have no clue at all on what to write. I am sure most of us know. And also this is just a tip on which you have to take a dip not sip :P

I hope this was useful to those who needed some idea.

FRIENDS

Friends come in different shapes and forms :). I am blessed to have all kinds. By shape and form I mean, friend doesn't have to be a human, nor does it have to be just your school friends. I have friends in the form of my dad, mother, grand mother, brother, sister, cousins, my huge family back home, in-laws, my sisters baby, my hubby, college friends, school friends,  neighbour, friends made on the net..and much more. 


Yes of course, we also come across people who are two faced. They act nice in the front but really behind your back, they are a nightmare. But we have to learn how to ignore them..
Just care for those who care for you...


I miss going to Suslim and Surup...and I wish I could meet somee too ..But thank God, Roshan Malla and Nabina Shrestha are here whom I can meet when I feel low or I want to have fun.

Valentines Day Cards

Valentines Day is not just between lovers, its also to be shared between your sister, mother, father, brother and grand parents. I wished my family :) So don't forget to wish your loved ones who has always been there for you <3

I created a card for my husband. Also, I was requested by two of my friends to make one for them. Due to shortage of time, I couldn't make the best one but I made a quick one. I also did a video while making a card for my husband but making the card while you are on video and teaching is so difficult lol. May be that was my first time. I didn't have time to edit the video so its very lengthy.

Card No 1

This card was created for my husband. I did more editing after the video. I was so tired of doing it in the camera. 

Using the Pop up message was also a first time experience. This was inside the card made for my husband.

This was the message that I wrote inside the card.

Card No 2

This card was created for my brother in law to give it to my sister in law. This was also a quick one but a simple one.

Card No 3

This card was specially made for my friend for his wife. I used a window Idea in this one. I really liked the front part myself :)

This was the inside of the card, I wanted to do the pop up in this one too but because of the picture, I didn't want to overshadow the picture so just stuck it in the middle. For me the inside bit was just okay.

I hope you guys enjoyed the video. I know there are some parts that is really boring. Its not easy to make video and as I couldn't find the right tool to edit I couldn't be bothered. I wasn't gonna upload in the first place but then I thought I should. That's it really. I hope you all had a fabulous time on your Valentines Day. 

If you are single, don't worry, God has made someone special out there for you to meet in the right time..
