Recipe

Fish Ball Recipe

Ingredients required:
1. Mashed potatoes, either fresh or ready made.
2. Tuna fish (canned) for Non-Veg or fried Quorn for Vegetarians.
3. Peas
4. Onions
5. Garlic & Ginger paste
6. Salt
7. Turmeric powder
8. Zeera masala (spice)
9. Curry powder (spice) and or Biryani masala
10. Eggs
11. Breadcrumbs

Mix & Match :)

Mix the following ingredients really well.
Mashed potatoes, Tuna fish, (for Vegetarians fried Quorn), peas, chopped onions (1, add more if you are making in large quantity), Garlic & Ginger paste (1 1/2 teaspoon, add more if making in large quantity), Salt (depending on taste), Turmeric powder (1/2 teaspoon), Zeera masala (1 1/2 teaspoon), Curry powder (1 tablespoon), add other spices as well if you want e.g. Biryani masala.

What to do with the mixture ?

Make round small balls from the mixture and put it aside in a tray.

What Next?

Take 2 eggs in a bowl, and whisk it, but not too much. On a separate tray sprinkle a lot of breadcrumbs and leave it aside. And now, dip the fish ball one at a time in the egg mix and then dip it in the breadcrumbs tray. Continue the process until you are dusted and done with the last fish ball.

Finally

Take a deep fryer fan, pour enough oil, once hot, fry the fish balls. (Deep fry so pan must be deep so that the fish balls can float). Once brown, take them out.

Walla!!!

Don't eat it straight away whilst hot, you don't want to burn your tongue. Obvious isn't it. But still warning. Serve it with ketchup or any other sauce and share it with your family and friends.

Picture No.1. This is Vegetarian

Picture No. 2. This is Non-Veg. I didn't have breadcrumbs so it looks like this. Otherwise would have looked similar to pics 1.
